About Bailey Boiler Works

Bailey Boiler Works, Inc has been in the boiler business in Lubbock, Texas since 1956, providing sales, rental, installation and repair of a wide variety of boilers and boiler related systems. Our goal of complete customer satisfaction has kept our company profitable with repeat business and referrals from satisfied customers. We have progressed from a “service only” business to a corporation that depends on sales, as much as service, to completely serve our clientele.

To keep our customers operating, we stock boiler and burner components in our warehouse for walk-in, phone-in or emailed customer sales. We also have a complete boiler/ burner service department with 24hr emergency response for those customers who have a steam-sensitive application.

Our pressure vessel repair, alteration and manufacturing are accomplished under our National Board R stamp and our ASME PP, H, S and U stamps.

Denzil Bailey started Bailey Boiler Works with the knowledge gained from working with his father-in-law in the Lubbock area. Denzil was born on a farm in Oklahoma just before the Great Depression. During these hard times he learned early the value of hard work and a sun up till sun down schedule. His family moved to Lubbock before the second Great War, and during that time he was drafted into the army where he served two years in the Pacific serving the USA during WWII. He returned home to Lubbock after the war and worked as a welder for a machine shop that serviced the oil field around Lubbock and after hours he would help his father-in-law repair boilers, mostly at the cotton compresses in the area.

His two sons Denzil Jr. (DW) and Luther carried on this family tradition and work ethic after both of them returned to Lubbock from military service during the Vietnam era. DW and Luther took the knowledge gained and expanded the company to service not only boilers but all types of fired vessels and even into constructing ASME pressure vessels as well.
The boiler industry has been the family business since the early 1900’s and is now in the fourth generation. DW’s son Brent now operates the company with the knowledge gained from the previous two generations, as he worked closely with his grandfather, father, and uncle for many years. Denzil and DW worked at BBW until physical limitations in their later years and Luther worked until retirement. All three were a great wealth of knowledge as mentors to the younger generations. These gentlemen always prided themselves on truthfulness, fairness, and ethics in business with customers and employees and could not have done this without the help of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

With the help of family members and longtime BBW employees, BBW has many years of experience to pull from to assist with customer needs. BBW has been blessed by a wide variety of great businesses and people as customers and will always strive to help in any way possible.
